Welcome to my study

The Wartburg is the name of my study.  I chose this name after the 12th century castle near Eisenach in Thuringia where Martin Luther was hidden for safety after being “kidnapped” by his friends on his way home following the Diet of Worms in 1521.  Luther referred to the Wartburg as his “Patmos” where he spent the time of his exile translating the Bible into German and also issued a number of polemical works.  I’m not translating the bible, but from this room I will be publishing devotional, apologetical, polemical and theological works.  Join me, and welcome.
